Philip Shing (tszis)

Philip moved to Las Vegas in 2021 to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a professional poker player. Prior to this, he worked as a quantitative analyst for 13 years, building models and performing data analysis in various NYC finance firms. His role in Octopi Poker is chief content officer, currently working on a few very exciting and innovative projects internally. He is also an invaluable source of input for the tools we're building due to both his creativity and his career experience.

Philip enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two young children, a favorite spot of theirs being Red Rock Canyon. Philip also loves to enjoy some of the finer things in life, such as a gourmet meal and some fine wine.
