Maria Ho

Maria Ho was born in Taipei, Taiwan, on March 6, 1983. She came to the U.S. with her parents when she was four-years-old. Maria is a Hall of Fame professional poker player and commentator. In 2007, her poker career was boosted by a deep run in the WSOP Main Event. In that event, she finished 38th from a field of 6,358 entries and won more than $200,000 in prize money. The finish earned Maria widespread recognition.

Throughout her career, Maria has consistently demonstrated her ability across a variety of poker formats, not just no-limit Texas hold’em. She’s recorded numerous deep runs in major tournaments and reached several highly competitive final tables, including ones from the WSOP and WPT. Maria's adaptability and strategic intelligence have earned her respect among peers and fans alike.

Maria is known for more than just her skills at the poker table. She’s one of the game’s most popular commentators, regularly offering insightful commentary and analysis during poker broadcasts.
