Johan Schultz-Pedersen is one of the brightest young minds in poker. Johan is from Denmark and honed his craft on the virtual poker felt where he quickly rose up the ranks to become one of the game’s top tournament players. Johan is most known as “JohanSchultz” on PokerStars and “ThatsVeryBased” on partypoker.
More recently, Johan has begun taking his talents into the live poker realm. He recorded his first live tournament cash in late 2019 and since then has been adding more and more deep runs to his résumé. Included among Johan’s live poker success are several WSOP cashes and a final table run in the EPT Paris Main Event in early 2023.
At Octopi Poker, Johan is the team’s master theoretician. He works closely with team members such as Andrew “LuckyChewy” Lichtenberger and specializes in the use of modern poker strategy tools and solver mechanics.
